I have a Synology NAS with a number of shares, and all my data. I have configured the NAS with NFS, and given each share...NFS's roles in FOG. NFS is used to transfer images to and from hosts in FOG, and is used on both the host and server. The server's setting file controls what files & directories are exported, and their options. NFS allows writing to the /images/dev directory and allows reading from the /images directory.When you mount the same NFS volume on different hosts, make sure that the server and folder names are identical across the hosts. If the names do not match exactly, the hosts see the same NFS volume as two different datastores. This might result in a failure of such features as vMotion.
